HOME Manchester is a performing arts centre that hosts international theatre, film and art exhibitions. The centre offers a wide array of contemporary film screenings, stage productions and visual art productions to enhance the creative quarter of the city.

Each year, nearly a million visitors come to HOME Manchester to experience independent film, see dance productions, discover new international artists and artwork or see exciting stage shows. Highlights of HOME Manchester

HOME Manchester has 2 performance venues: a 500-seat theatre and a 150-seat studio space. It also has 5 cinema screens, an art gallery and a bar and restaurant. There’s also an event space for special exhibitions, conferences and trade shows. The Granada Foundation Galleries offers salon-hangs, large-scale murals and formal grid displays near the cinemas and restaurant.

You’ll find a wide range of productions from HOME Manchester to suit a variety of audiences. Some of the past productions include ‘Liberty’, a BSL poetry reading, ‘Duckie’, a family-friendly personal story and Push Festival, an annual celebration of creativity.

HOME Manchester always has a screening, performance or art exhibition happening, so be sure to check the event calendar to see what’s on the schedule during your trip dates. You can book tickets online for the show or event in advance.

The theatre is close to many of Manchester’s other top attractions, such as the fascinating Manchester Museum and the interactive Science and Industry Museum.
