The stay was great and everything was prepared according to the expectations. The only downside I has was that I was initially told there would be parking, but then later they told me that they could provide me with any. I wish the communication about it was a bit more clear. Once getting through the fairly complicated check-in process, everything else was excellent. It’s a spacious well appointed And attractive apartment. It’s crucial for renters to be on the lookout for a communication from Globalstay About pre-check-in procedures. And fill out the form with information at least several hours prior to check in so that their staff can process it, Then send the check-in instructions/codes, etc.

Area itself was safe, walkable, and a nice part of the city. The property itself was rather disappointing. Marketed as a 4 person property, however the pull out couch wasn’t just uncomfortable (which was expected) it was unusable, kept falling apart mid use. Also couch cushions and pillows were covered in numerous unidentifiable white stains.. shower walls, the grout also didn’t look like it had a deep clean in a while. This lace was too small for 4 average sized adults.

Not for business traveler...
They make you go through hoops (e.g. sending pictures of IDs for security reasons; prepay indemnity via separate link, etc.), you think this security focus will lead to individualize beverage station. What bulks people could tamper with?! They probably could make arrangements with the helpful condo concierge - instead you're forced to try to read an eye straining check-in info, that won't expand bc there is no wifi in the lobby, then sent on a treasure hunt to get the room key. Who needs all this when you had a flight delay and have tons to do for work? Also the place smelled like dogs and I was afraid my work clothes would start stinking. Self generator was loud as well.😐

Check in was at 3. I was with my autistic son, they didn’t give us the key. Had to wait in the lobby with all our bags for a hour until 4pm until the key was in the lockbox. The person was supposed to text me when it was ready. He didn’t. Instead we waited in the hall close to 4 waiting for the lock box to have the key. They won’t discount me, and have not returned my deposit!

The unit was ok. One ‘room’ has no windows or door but we knew that when booking. DIY work in the unit is so bad it’s comical! All cosmetic but still…hire someone who owns a toolbox. Not much around within short walking distance restaurants. CN tower is 20 minute walk for reference so not bad but too far for anyone with mobility issues. Overall it was fine for the price and would probably go back again.

It was also advertised as having a pool and hot tub but we found out once arriving that because we only stayed four nights that we did not have access. Stay away from this place. Paid in full and never stayed there. Hours before arrival I was asked to pay an additional $200.00 via PayPal. (Did not pay it) This company had my credit card on file. Seems like this location is run by thieves and scammers. Never received a refund. Go somewhere else in Toronto.

The apartment we stayed in was lovely, with a balcony. It was thoughtfully arranged and decorated, stocked with just about everything you might need, including toothpaste which we forgot. I bought some at the convince store across the street, before we saw some under the bathroom sink. Only thing was there was no on site parking. They helpfully included the address for one a few blocks away with probably the best overnight rates for e found in the city. It was good weather so it was fine. It was tucked away in a residential street. Bring a buddy, it you can, as it’s self park and gets a little dark inside.

Don’t do it.
Called to make sure I could park there, they said $10 extra dollars, once I booked it they suddenly did not have parking for my first day, but did the second day for $20. They never gave me the correct code to get the fob open to use the parking. The power went out in half the room the second day there and they ignored me and never had anyone help out or turn it on or tell me who I can talk to to get it on. I reported a spill in the elevator the second day I was there and it was still there 24 hours after I left. There is nobody to talk to when you have an issue. And when I was checking in online, the staff that messaged me was pushy and weird. Moldy bathrooms and pubic hairs all over. Yuck. No close parking ramps to park elsewhere, I had to park in the street far from the condo, and someone hit and run on my car, they don’t do police reports for that, and I have to take my car 45 minutes away to file a report at a designated location. The condo had zero accommodations for anything. You have to move your car every three hours no matter the time or you will get a $30 ticket. Save yourself and stay on the outskirts. Also their ‘parking spot’ was full of junk as shown in the picture.

Avoid if you can
The room were not clean when we checked in late in the afternoon. We called multiple times to reach the management. It took another two hours to have the management send a cleaning person. And they do not put in a flat sheet expecting us cover our body directly with the comforter that who knows how many people slept in. Moreover, the dirty sheets were stacked in the closet. Very unprofessional. Hard to reach management. Avoid if you can!

The location and pool saves this place but otherwise quite disappointing. They charged us for an additional guest (we are two parents with three little ones) and then didn’t leave enough blankets or towels, and only half a roll of toilet paper for a two night stay. Communication was quick but abrupt and often inaccurate (told us pool was on wrong floor, gave us wrong code for parking fob access etc). And the clincher - the cold water was HOT and when I contacted them for help explaining this meant we had no drinking water - they said they’d get back to us in 72 hours, which was longer than the booking itself! Other disappointments included. I be all out blinds and bright lights shining in all night and a very measly shower. But the location and pool were perfect!

Grand rental with a private entrance.
Truly an amazing property. The unit we had was on the ground floor, with a private entrance. The unit was especially clean, well organized and outfitted. We had a little trouble with the check in. Our unit was locked upon arrival. It took close to two hours to finally get into the unit with help from security. I was impressed and yet annoyed with the communication. My questions were answered by email very quickly. Yet, I was not able to get a hold of the booking agency or the home owner by phone. The back and forth emails (after I repeatedly request a phone call) only added to my check in frustration. I had to cancel a dinner with long time friends. Thankfully, we had time to make our dinner up. Overall, I would stay at this rental again without a hesitation. In advance, I'd let them know exactly when I'll arrive and request someone double check the unit, insuring a smooth check in process
