Nice and tidy
Good location, friendly staff and lovely reception area. Make sure to get in early for parking as its first in first serve. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable! Bathroom was good. Bit outdated. In studio room there was no toaster which was a shame and had to plug jug in and sit on top of the baggage holder. Wasn't ideal. Fridge wasn't cold and couldn't be adjusted. Very basic but for one night suited us.

1 night stay.
Stayed for 1night in Standard room although the room has not been updated for a while it was still comfortable and everything worked fine, the only complaint was the wind whistling through the balcony doors (harbour side room) . Staff at check-in/out were very friendly and quick at getting me sorted.

Handy to The Strand Railway Station via the Ernest Davis Steps, Ronayne St and a Lane immediately to left after passing under railway bridge takes you to the Northern Explorer Train. About a 12 minute walk. I had booked two rooms and at check in the employee tried to give me one room that slept three. When that was sorted we were allocated a room on level five that we found had not been serviced. Returned to the desk and were given a room that was on the same floor as the other room we had booked. Why wasn't that done in the first instance? After traveling all day I could have done without the boofheadedness at check in. The staff were otherwise helpful, the bar service and meal good. Room okay.
