A little run down, going through some remodeling at the moment. Very spacious rooms. Dishwasher didn't work, and no plug for the kitchen sink Bathroom basin wouldn't drain, and shower was disappointing.

Pleasant location for a weekend in Auckland
Amazing view of Auckland skyline for a weekend in Auckland. Quiet location but a little way from restaurants. The hotel restaurant is currently closed. Grateful for a room upgrade given to us . Staff polite. No servicing unless requested which suited us.

Unfortunately not a great experience at this property. We were 2 couples, each with a pregnant lady, that booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom room. When we entered the room it looked clean but had an absolutely foul smell. We asked the front desk for a room change and had them come up to the room to agree with us something wasn’t right. The only available option for us was a room with a double and single bed with an en-suite in the double bed room so we had to go through the other couple’s bedroom to use the bathroom. Apologies were offered, but we had to ask for compensation, that wasn’t offered, even though we had to downsize our room. The rooms at this property appear to be in ok condition and clean other than our very odd fluke experience. The property itself - hallways, restaurant, elevators, gym etc - could use a lot of love. Over powered fragrance seems to cover smells in common areas and carpet has clearly seen water damage. Lots of potential, but not worth the price being charged.
