Amazing for the price! The manager was/is super friendly. This is our second year in a row! Only opportunity I would say is the shower- it sprays outside of the shower causing the floor to somewhat get soaked but nothing extra towels can’t fix! They even have complementary snacks and drinks! Not a bad location either!

Surprisingly super nice
It was the first time we stayed in the California Inn and it was really nice. We weren’t sure when we pulled up because the part of town is a little bit interesting but the motel itself was really great. Newly renovated very clean with a Keurig in the room, soaps and snacks. The bathroom was very spacious & super clean! We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at California Inn. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable! Requested a very last minute late checkout and was able to have a lengthy checkout time. Staff was great. Would stay again!

Great budget option near Disney
It’s an old building remodeled, but my room had a strong smoke smell. A little loud at night over a weekend with noise heard from the room above us and people talking outside late at night. Parking was full and overflow was just in the liquor stores parking lot which didn’t feel the most secure. Overall the location was great for a trip to Disney and the bathroom was nice!

We’ve used California Inn several times for quick trips to Disney. It’s easy to get in and out, no hassles, no drama, no parking fees. The rooms are remodeled and while it’s not a 5 star hotel, they made things updated and very comfortable. I would recommend that they do some deep(er) cleaning of their rooms in between guests-for example, while the floor had been swept, it definitely wasn’t mopped and you could see some spills and stains. But their beds are clean and sheets are comfy.

The hotel is relatively young with a more modern look. Service was fine and had complimentary snacks in the room. The TV had a variety of subscriptions like Disney+ and Netflix. In terms of downsides, the hook and towel mounts on the wall were often loose and needed tightening. Also since the headboard and chairs were all cloth, it is hard to tell how they would clean it. The clean bedding and towels had some slight stain marks. I’m sure they were cleaned and are functional, but it didn’t give a good impression coming in on the first day.
