We had a very bad experience at tara inn, and actually refused to stay. The staff are very rude and unpleasant, our room was dirty, very buggy and actually hotter than outside at mid day. Also most rooms are located at the top of a hill therefore requires a lot of stairs every time you need to go to your room. Lobby is extremely unwelcoming which is full of grumpy thai's and nowhere to sit and use wifi. Bathroom facilities are terrible, about as clean as a thai public bathroom. Overall not good value for money. We found great accommodation just down the street for a better price that was great.
