The A/C unit was incredibly loud, to the point where we thought about asking for a different room. When I informed the desk thinking they'd want to know about it, they said they already did, and proceeded to explain why it was loud. Things like that need to be replaced, not justified. It would be great if you offered coffee at the bar in the hotel building, not make your guests walk across the parking lot for it.

Very economic price but get what you pay for
It was okay for the price. The gals who checked us in were incredibly friendly and left a great initial impression. The property is cute and an easy walk to a ton of places on Fremont. Shower had excellent shower pressure. The negatives were the guy at the desk at checkout who just ignored me as I stood there waiting to ask about the incentives they offered for leaving a good review. Also, the blood stains on our ceiling - a bit uncomfortable. Also in a really ghetto part of town so the yelling and screaming in the middle of the night were very audible through the thin walls. People screaming and fighting on the property were not confronted by any type of security. Floor tiles weren’t properly done so they were all broken up from the floor and would pinch your bare feet as you walked.

Friendly and helpful staff! The room was cozy but clearly not cleaned properly. Seemed kind of like they change the bedding and emptied the trash and that was it. Location was awesome. 1 block from Fremont.

My Review of my one-night hotel stay
I had to wait about 3 minutes at the counter upon check in. This hotel does not advertise parking information. I don’t know where my the rest of my money went. I booked for a room for $59. I advanced $90 for a 3-night stay at Oasis at the Gold Pike hotel from December 24-27 through Hotels.com. At the counter upon checking in, the counter lady charged me $122. She was with Philip, at the counterat on December 24 at about 7:30 pm. She said they will return my $100 security deposit upon check out. Upon check out on December 25 at 11:00am, Dee, the counter lady, when I asked her for a receipt, she said she could only give me $25 receipt for my total payment. One hundred dollars would be refunded to me in 3-5 business days. I paid $90 for my 3-night reservation. I paid $122 upon check in. Because I didn’t like the room and the location of the hotel itself, I decided to stay there only for one night. When I checked out in the morning, Dee told me she could only give me $25 receipt for my stay and that $100 would be refunded to me. My total payment was $212.—$90 advance payment plus $112.00 payment at the counter upon check in. For one night stay, I paid $59. Dee said I’ll be refunded $100.00 in 3-5 days. My total payment of $212.00 minus $59 for one night stay equals $153.00. I should be refunded $153.00. I hope I get this &153.00 back as soon as possible. Thank you.
