Dissapointed Overall Stay
Arrived December 27th on my birthday. Check in was good but as soon as we walked onto the 10th floor for our room, the mold smell in hallway was terrible. As soon as we walked in our room, it was worse. We had to ask for a anti humidifier which realky dint help. Housekeeping nor maintenance never bothered to change the water out daily. Needless to say we came back from dibner on the aecind night to find it had keaked so bad it filked the bathroom and entry area. On the 3rd night we walked into our room to find the light above bathroom sink was leaking, so more water everywhere. We were mever offered to change rooms. Furthermore, the restaurants wete not good at all. The food was leas then mediocre throught property. We exoected better than thos as our 6 night stay was more than $700 nightly. I wil day that Luis at the buffet served is daily for breakfast and was a very pleasent. Other than that we will not be recommending this hotel nor staying there again. Its a shame that we had such a bad experience as we travel to cancun at least 3 times a year. We definitely exoected more than this from the Royalton Chic. I hope they will do better for future guests.
