They over book
I booked a studio double for the weekend and at check in, I was told they over booked and the room I selected was not available. I was given a standard room and was told they’ll put me in the studio the following night. I checked in the next day and when I walked into my room it was a complete mess. Previous guests trashed it and was not cleaned. I called the front desk asking for a clean room and was told there was nothing they can do.

Check in was a human robot, no smiles or helpfulness. Room was in another building. Premium room was low quality, old decor, bathroom was motel level. Loud outdoor stage music kept us from sleeping; the hotel’s suggestion was go to the front desk for ear plugs. Only one set of pillows, very hard, for the first night but remedied for the second night. No housekeeping service even to replace towels. The resort fee is crazy, where is the resort? We selected Downtown Grand because of 8.3 rating on hotels.com, higher than Strip competitors, but this is definitely not an 8.3.

Our experience at the Grand was perfect. We only had one issue with a female bartender. The light on my machine wasn't working properly and her solution was that I gamble faster and do bigger bets. WOW. Other than that, all the other employees were amazing :)

I wouldn’t stay here again.
This was our first time staying here and I was very disappointed. We checked in and asked where to park, the lady checking us in didn’t let us know we needed to get out parking ticket validated before leaving so we ended up having to pay for parking when leaving to go into Vegas strip. Then when coming back to the hotel I took a shower there was only one door in the shower so the water was all over the floor. When I was in the shower they had a power outage so I was unable to blow dry my hair. When I called the front office they said to stay in the room and they had no clue how long it would be and they didn’t have a back up generator. This had to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life.
