I informed the receptionist on leaving and no apology was made just an 'Okay'. The whole place is indeed of refurbishment. However, the staff were friendly and the breakfast choice adequate."

Shower was excellent and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty too. It was my second stay at this hotel, and I would come back again."

The bar and adjoining lounge was lovely - it was very picturesque with the river view."

"Mostly fine, comfortable stay, however, there was a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom, particularly when I was using the shower, which was quite unnerving. Also, the dinner I had in the restaurant was a bit disappointing; the steak was tough and the chocolate melt pudding didn't melt... it was served pretty solid and not very warm. Not really what I would have expected for the price of the meal. Other than those two things, everything was fine; nice room, good location, big TV came in handy for watching Eurovision!"
