As always this hotel and its staff did not disappoint. A friendly and personal welcome on the way in, a super comfortable and well laid out room with gorgeous bed, large bath and plenty of space. I use this hotel a lot for business and I would happily use it for personal travel too.

The hotel is lovely and was decorated stunningly for christmas. It was also nice to walk into town via the canal from the hotel too. We had an issue with the electric in our room on our second night and it took 3 calls to reception and 40 minutes before someone came up to the room. Lovely staff Though slightly understaffed. Needed an extra person to run between two stations as the bar was often left with people waiting to turn up. The dinner in the restaurant was great. The service was good, but again I felt there should have been extra support. It's a 50 minute walk to the centre of Oxford (definitely worth it as its mainly by the Thames) or a 6-10 minute bus ride.

Perfect weekend hotel stay, scenic well maintained grounds and buildings, fast efficient check in and clean modern decor and furnishings within. Large room with super king bed clean and modern furnishings and on suite, fridge and large flat screen TV, ironing and hairdryer equipment, extremely comfortable bed and ample pillows with continental quilt. The quietest hotel room I have ever slept in and my stay was on a Saturday night. As much as you could eat self service breakfast with English and Continental options available. With a midday check out time and breakfast available until 11am ideal for a relaxing weekend break. Fantastic quality evening dinner in the restaurant, compliments to the chef and restaurant staff. All hotel staff were friendly and attentive to guests needs, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quality no nonsense hotel.

Clean and tidy hotel on the outskirts of Oxford. It is an easy walk to the centre and we preferred the location. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a nice bar area with an outside terrace. Would definitely recommend.
