Homegrown Weekend
I shouted a friend a weekend adventure for the Homegrown concert. The hotel is in the perfect location! It is an easy walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the waterfront where all the fun is. I managed to get a car park at the hotel which was great. We didn't need much for our stay, just beds and a bathroom, so were very happy with our little two bed room.

Etablissement un peu vieillot mais très bien situé dans la ville avec une excellente desserte de/vers l'aéroport et de/vers le ferry pour Picton. Nombreuses possibilités de restauration à proximité et personnel d'accueil charmant.

For a quick night stay
Location is close to restaurants and other iconic places in the city. However, the place is not very roomy and the facilities are limited. There is charge for guaranteed parking. Stairs and no lift, no ironing board. Perhaps could be alright for a very short stay.

Good for spending the night.
Location is excellent. Walking distance from most places. Bed was very comfortable and shower pressure good. WiFi was fast. I didn't drive in so no idea about parking. If your looking for a place to sleep it's great. Anything more the room would be too small. Perfect for what I was looking for.

Eigenwilliges Hotel
(-) Schon die steile, enge Zufahrt zum Innenhof ist besonders. Mit einem Van möchte ich dies nicht machen. (-) nachdem im Innenhof jeder Parkplatz belegt war mussten wir auf der Straße parken. Bis 10:00 morgens ist das kostenfrei, danach ...? (-) wir wurden in die alte Villa ausquartiert. Dort hatte man nur eine Gemeinschaftsküche (+) gut ist die Lage des Motels. In 10 Minuten zu Fuß ist man in einer Bar und Restaurant Straße.

Good for a visit in Wellington
Just stayed here’s for new night. Perfectly good however it was a warm day and so we had an uncomfortable nights sleep. No air con, a small fan was supplied but didn’t make a difference unfortunately. Description should state parking situation. Only about 4 free spaces and then you have to pay for onsite parking. Good location to get all around town. Very helpful man in reception

Great location, close to town
The staff were great, held our bags after we checked out so we could complete our trip without carrying luggage everywhere. The room was basic but all we needed for a short break,Thanks Halswell Lodge.

Beautiful large lodge room
I absolutely loved my stay at Halswell lodge, the staff made check in easy & allowed me to check in early which made a dramatic difference to my day. The room was large & highly recommend the room with the gorgeous spa bath. Very clean with a super comfortable bed. Staff friendly and accommodating. A very relaxing stay.

The motel is close to the CBD and was clean but it is not flash. I used it because Wellington was full. It is OK to sleep, if on a budget or cannot find the next level.

Really nice motel, friendly staff,perfect location
The room was really nice, was what it showed in pictures. The location was perfect. Clean and spacious. Only recommendations would be a stop for the wheels on the extra bed, scissors in the kitchen and recycling for all our plastic bottles.

便利なところに有ります。
とにかく便利なところにありました。町の中ですがホテル周辺はそんなに騒がしく有りません。 博物館や港の施設、ヨットハーバーは徒歩10分。　フェリー乗り場は少し遠いですが。 ホテル界隈は美味しいレストラン等たくさん有ります。大きなスーパーマーケットもあり便利。 部屋は色々なタイプが有って、考えるところです。　街中で駐車場も有ってでいつも満室です。

Booked here because right on Courtenay Place. Budget and got what I paid for. Just super noisy from the street. Room ok but under the bed was filthy. Acceptable for its price.

L'hotel è ben posizionato, la camera è spaziosa ma andrebbe rimodernata...basterebbe anche una rinfrescata alle pareti!!! bagno vecchio. Anche la pulizia lasciava un pò a desiderare. L'unico lato positivo era il prezzo, che ci ha fatto accettare le note dolenti di questo posto!

close to airport
We only stayed for one (very short) night and the hotel was already closed, but we found instructions in the letterbox with room keys etc. A shuttle bus reservation was made by the hotel owner to take us early in the morning to the airport.
