San Francisco is a Beautiful City. I'm 70 and I walk All over the City and have Never had a problem. The Ridiculous slander campaign against SF. Is just That. Slander. There's a Reason SF is voted year after year as one of the best places to visit.

The buses were easy to figure out with the MuniMobile app, and I was able to walk or bus wherever I wanted to go. I did have a car on this trip, but I don't think I'd take one on future visits because parking and driving is kind of a hassle/expensive

It was sobering to see the number of homeless on the streets of San Francisco, and shocking to see many abandoned buildings and closed businesses like the famous Fisherman's Grotto on the Wharf. Made me sad. We had beautiful weather and a great walk

San Francisco has some of the best food in the country. The seafood was so fresh, even the lettuce and tomatoes on a regular green salad tasted fresh. I also love the shopping in Union Square, Livermore outlet mall and in the greater San Francisco.

San Francisco was an amazing city, lots of things to see & do. Great steak, friendly people & good service. Amazing architecture. The extent of the homeless problem, in particular the drug related zombie like nature of the people was sad and shocking

There are homeless/transient people here and there, mostly in Tenderloin area, but more law enforcement presence than transient presence. Media makes it seem like it's nothing but problems, that was not our experience. Clean, walkable, great city!

I was raised about 30 minutes from San Francisco so I'm very familiar with the city. For this stay we had friends come into town to explore the City and showed them the touristy stuff. I am still amazed of how great and beautiful San Francisco is.

There is no other City like San Francisco. Make sure to get out to avenues and local universities to experience whole of San Francisco, including Chrissy Fields, the Marina, the Presidio, and the Richmond District. Seven nights was not enough time.

World class city. Despite all the negative press about SF, it is beautiful. From the Ferry building to the Golden Gate Bridge -about a 6-1/2 mile walk, it's full of green space, clean sidewalks, paths, great restaurants. Check out Tunnel Tops.

Pleased to see that San Francisco remains vibrant with its many wonderful neighborhoods. I also enjoyed the waterfront area, along the Embarcadero, Chinatown, North Beach and Jackson Square. I also liked how light rail expanded to Mission Bay.
"I booked this hotel without looking at the reviews first and I’m glad I did that. I had a very nice stay and would stay again. The only thing is once you leave the hotel and turn on Larkin, you will run into trouble so just go the other way or call a Waymo/uber/lyft."
