Kennedy Town Hong Kong Hotels

Whether you’re looking at Kennedy Town in Hong Kong for hotels or browsing the surrounding region for family accommodation, our site is your best bet. A highly popular hotspot for tourism, the accommodation choices here are practically endless. One of the most densely populated places around, Kowloon boasts an impressive range of shops, eateries and accommodation choices, easily showing why it has become such a favourite with holiday goers.

The main attractions in Kowloon include a respectable range of landmarks like Kowloon Waterfront, Symphony of Lights and Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple. History buffs and culture seekers will love the wide range of choices when it comes to museums, galleries and even a graffiti wall.

Things to see

Get to know more about Hong Kong and her rich history at the Hong Kong Museum of History in Tsim Sha Tsui. This museum is a must go if you’re planning to visit only one museum, and the exhibits can easily take up over 2 hours, providing visitors with an engaging and enriching experience. Other interesting museums include Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Dialogue in the Dark and the Hong Kong Space Museum.

Every night, there is a spectacular light show staged on top of key buildings on both sides of the harbour. Visitors can listen to the music and English narration, held live at the Avenue of Stars. The Avenue of Stars is another attraction worth any tourist’s time, found along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. This is where you can find a path with several local artists’ handprints, a definite must-see for fans of their film and drama industry.

Hotels in Kowloon

Despite being no bigger than 47 square kilometres Kowloon matches Hong Kong in variety of accommodation. Options for visitors on a budget include guesthouses and hostels found across various districts. The rooms offered may be small, but are sufficiently equipped and provide a comfortable rest between shopping and eating trips. Those willing to indulge a little can find mid-range and luxury hotels, each providing comfortable rooms, WiFi access and tasty breakfasts. Some even provide their own happy hour drinks and include Apple TV as part of the room’s amenities.

Where to stay

Central Kowloon is a great choice if you’re a visitor who likes to be in the thick of a bustling city. There is a dazzling array of options when it comes to places for shopping, eating and sleeping. Accommodation options range from backpackers hostels to luxury hotels. A place like the Kowloon Waterfront offers a splendid, classic view of Hong Kong, something no visitors should miss out on during their time here.

Tsim Sha Tsui is a place that shopaholics simply cannot miss out on. This place is exactly how you would image when a multitude of brands come together and form a focused hotspot. You can find Bollywood-themed memorabilia, charming restaurant touts, international brand names and Asian street label boutiques. You can also find spacious, well-equipped malls that provide a great blend of shopping, eating and culture. Accommodation here is highly diverse, and given the small land area, convenience is not a rarity between the choices available.

How to get to Kowloon

The cheapest way to get in is by riding the ferry from Wan Chai or Central, which is actually an attraction by itself, providing visitors with access to a colourful view of the city lights, especially at night. The Airport Express train is a good choice since it takes visitors to Kowloon MTR station in just 20 minutes. Another alternative is the bus service, which connects the airport terminals to Kowloon, as well as some hotels and areas like Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok.
