Could do better
Most recent of lots of stays. Disappointed is the word I would use. Booked day of arrival. Arrived to be told "because you booked late you have to have a disabled accessible room unless you want to upgrade" Platinum member on HDC so surely should have been upgraded. That's never happened anywhere so pretty sure it's a scam.
Bar service and drinks awesome as ever. Can't fault them.
Woke to my cad being charged hundreds of pounds (already paid for room). Tooka while to sort at front desk, all refunded but it's not what you expect at the prices they charge.
Room cold. HVAC did t appear to work. Got to bed late so wasn't going to call desk or ask to change room. Again, not what I expect.
Shower was so low I had to stoop to get under it. Should have gone for the upgrade.
Overall could do better and they do.
