The room was quite big and ok but the AC didn't work well and it was not possible to open the windows. The room got warm even if the outside temperature was only around 20. The breakfast was very British, with warm food. However no cheese, no cold vegetables and no decent bread (only toasts).

A good 15 minute walk from Cardiff Central (Cardiff Queen Street was right behind it) very close to the city centre so easy to get to everything including the castle which was why we were there. Hotel itself is very pretty in the public areas. We didn't try the bar but did have breakfast there one morning which had quite an array. Room was fairly standard no complaints The elevator was out the day we got there so did have to take the stairs luckily we were on the 1st floor so it wasn't too bad just unexpected

We had 2 - 3 day stays at the Premier Inn, Churchill Way, Cardiff a week apart, both were very good. The staff were very friendly & helpful to us. The few complaints that I have would be directed at management. Fresh towels are needed each day for stays longer than an overnight as there are no heated towel racks to dry the towels & they should be delivered to the room. On the 2nd stay the kitchen ran out of many food items on the menu, rice, fish & some chicken dishes - this would seem to be a purchasing issue. There seemed to be a general under staffing, making for a difficult workload for existing staff e.g bar to waiting tables, to check in & not much kitchen staff to fill the orders.

It wss clean but expensive for the level of service. Free Internet was a joke I had to switch to phone to answer survey. Could not check in with screen with us zip code. Helpful bar tender got us checked in.

The carpeting throughout the hotel should be replaced - it looks dirty, dingy, there are bleach and other stains. Having no telephone to reach the "front drsk" was inconvenient but we soon realized it's more of a self serve type of place. The prices for food and drink were great and the staff we did interact with were cordial and helpful.

Problem with check in....they said hotels. Com did not send in the funds. Charged for 2 hours early check in. Room was cold. Asked to change the room, Katie at reception was uncooperative. Ebony and Macien were friendly but Ebony was helpful, polite and helped getting us a radiator for the room. Would like to thank Ebony and the guys at reception for their help

A wonderful stay with family

Check in staffs are nice and friendly, although we arrived late after midnight, their warm welcome and smile on their face are unbeatable. I love their service provided. My family and I appreciated for their assistance. What an excellent stay!

During our family trip, we stayed at Premier Inns in Edinburgh, Birmingham, and Cardiff, and the one on Queen Street in Cardiff was by far the best! The room was spacious, the breakfast was prepared with great care, and the location was excellent. The only downside was that the partnered parking lot was a bit hard to find and not very close. Still, my kids and I liked this one the most!
