The team at The Camberley were wonderful - efficient, friendly, and very flexible to our needs at a difficult time for us when a loved one was in hospital and sadly passed away. Breakfast was really good. Kimberley was very helpful and informative. Quick walk to town and lot of restaurants. Parking is there although a bit tight. Bed is super comfy. Shower is small so suck it in and make sure your shoulders aren’t very broad.

Nice B&B perfectly positioned across the road from the Harrogate conference centre if your trip is for a visit there. I’d visit again if coming to Harrogate. It lists itself as a 4* hotel and that is why I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars as it doesn’t have the facilities you expect of a hotel - staffed reception desk, bar, restaurant etc - but is a very pleasant B&B. The cooked breakfast - available as an add on £15 when I was there - was very good - freshly cooked, the poached eggs were perfect and high quality bacon and sausage with generous portions. The rooms were quiet and clean and bed comfortable. The room was not serviced during my 3 night stay but there was plentiful refills of tea, coffee and milk supplies to help yourself to in the communal area. Again absolutely fine for a B&B but not what you’d expect in a hotel. I had a few problems with allergies there and suspect this was due to a bit of dust on the four-poster bed hangings as soft furnishings like these not great for allergy and asthma sufferers as they can gather dust very quickly. The bedding itself was clean and nice and room appeared well-hoovered and cleaned.
