"This location was once a Dutch company insurance/finance building. The hotel wing in recent construction build with the opulence of a Dutch colonial hotel. Closely resembles, and reminds us of the Singapore Raffles at the height of popularity...only smaller, with impeccably detailed service.
The breakfast menu covers western and continental tastes, but excells with delights from Indonesia. Outstanding.
Lunch and dinner menus ore more limited, but ample for those retreating. Other Indonesia venues are nearby. Don’t miss the bakery and amazing dark chocolate bars topped with fruit and nuts!
A stay here is highly recommended. "
"The hotel and its staff are wonderful! We were walking distance from the two main shopping malls. The area around the hotel is definitely third world, overly populated and lots of vendors, but everyone is super nice!! We felt safe walking to and from the malls and you just have to be aware of your surroundings or you could get run over by a moped or car. The food in the hotel was delicious! "
"Easy check in. Very friendly staff, always welcoming and helpful. Only downside is the lack of selection of English Breakfast. It would be great if they serve more options for english breakfast. Overall stay was excellent.

"Our stay at Artotel Thamrin Jakarta was excellent. The hotel was very neat and clean, and the staff were polite and kind. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. We also tried dinner, and it was equally very good. Overall, a wonderful experience."
